Rent a bike at Oysterduinen

A stay at Resort Oysterduinen isn’t complete without a leisurely bike ride through Zeeland’s natural landscape. By bike, you can explore the dunes, dikes, oyster beds, the Oosterschelde, and the charming surroundings of Yerseke at your own pace. Thanks to our partnership with PoldAr, you don’t need to bring anything: simply reserve your bike through the app and pick it up right at the resort.

Hit the road with ease: reserve your e-bike through the app!

Make every ride a relaxing experience with PoldAr’s modern e-bikes. You can book quickly through the Moovlr app, and then easily manage the bike with the PoldAr app.

Carefree cycling is our top priority. Thanks to the solid rubber inner tubes, flat tires are a thing of the past, and the chain is virtually unbreakable. You’ll never lose your keys again, because you can conveniently unlock everything digitally.

Whether you’re taking a short ride or heading out for a longer trip, with a range of 40 km (custom mode) to 80 km (hybrid mode), you’re always set. Adjust the assistance to your liking and enjoy a wonderful ride through charming villages, over dikes, and along the water!

Follow these steps to make your reservation:

  • Create your Moovlr account by clicking the button below.
  • Open the confirmation email and create a password.
  • Download the Moovlr app using one of the buttons below.
  • Log in using your Moovlr account credentials and select the correct language for the app in the settings.
  • Next, click the three horizontal lines in the upper-left corner of the screen and select "Make a reservation." You will then be redirected to the app's webpage.
  • Select the correct dates and the correct number of bikes. The blue button at the bottom of the screen will appear. Click it to make your reservation.
  • Select the iDeal/Wero payment method and agree to the terms and conditions to complete the payment.
  • Enter the account holder's name, and you'll be redirected to your bank's payment app.
  • Once you've paid, your active reservation will be available in the Moovlr app.

Pick your bike and head out!

With your reservation in the Moovlr app, you can rent one of the bikes available at the resort for the selected time. You’ll recognize them by their shape, as shown in the image, and the Oysterduinen logo on the basket at the front of the bike. 

In the Moovlr app, you’ll find all the bikes currently available. They’re all numbered. These numbers match the numbers on the bikes. On the beige bikes, the numbers are on a sticker on the frame, below the QR code. On the blue/green bikes, the last 3 digits of the bike number are on the frame. 

Turn this on on your cell phone:

  • Turn on your location settings to see the nearest bikes
  • Turn on Bluetooth to operate the bike lock
