At Oysterduinen Resort Yerseke, quality and service are key. Our guests choose a special vacation at a unique location in Zeeland and expect everything to be well taken care of. As a janitor, you play a key role in this. You ensure that the park and the vacation homes are in top condition and that small problems are solved quickly and professionally.

From a technical report in a house to the signaling of maintenance on the park: you are daily engaged in making sure that our guests' stay runs smoothly. You work closely with the reception and other colleagues, switch quickly and think in solutions. Thanks to your efforts, guests experience comfort, safety and care during their stay.

Resort Oysterduinen is a new resort under development and part of Kleen Resorts - a scale-up developer in the tourism sector.

Kleen Resorts focuses on revitalizing existing locations. Resort Oysterduinen is a fine example. On the site of the former Camping Zon & Zee, a modern resort is being created with 70 luxury vacation homes, fully equipped for rental.

Since the end of 2024, the first homes have been successfully rented out and the park is growing step by step. With each new home, the number of guests is also increasing.

To manage this growth and provide our guests with the service they are entitled to expect, we are looking for you!

What will you be doing?

In this role, you’ll combine technical maintenance with guest-oriented service. Half of your work involves keeping everything in the park running smoothly, and the other half ensures that every home is ready for a wonderful stay.

Technical Services

• You’ll handle technical reports and minor repairs in the vacation homes quickly and professionally
• You’ll inspect systems and perform preventive maintenance
• You’ll identify maintenance needs at the resort and actively contribute ideas for improvements
• You keep the grounds clean, safe, and well-maintained for guests and colleagues
• You switch easily between different tasks—no two days are the same

Service and Preparing Units for Guests

You ensure that every unit is fully ready for guests by the time they arrive. This is a broad range of tasks that varies from day to day, from minor repairs to the finishing touches that make a stay special. Here are a few examples of what this entails:

• You’ll prepare the properties for rental so they’re ready for guests upon arrival (no cleaning—that’s handled separately)
• You’ll heat the hot tub in advance so it’s at the right temperature when the guest arrives
• You ensure that any ordered extras are ready, such as a breakfast package that’s been delivered or a bottle of cava chilled in the fridge
• You check that the property is complete and in good condition before the guest checks in
• You resolve minor issues that might interfere with the guest’s stay before they become a problem

In short, this isn’t a strictly defined checklist but a broad role in which you’ll use your own judgment to determine what’s needed to ensure the guest has a carefree stay.

• You’re technically skilled and can independently perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks
• You have experience with technical work and versatile knowledge of construction and installation
• You have a guest-oriented attitude and understand that your work directly contributes to a pleasant stay
• You work neatly and in an organized manner, with an eye for detail, safety, and quality
• You think in terms of solutions and respond quickly when an issue or question arises
• You’re flexible; we also work on weekends and sometimes in the evenings
• You’re a team player, reliable, and enjoy working with the front desk and other colleagues
