Oyster Festival in Yerseke

The Oyster Festival in Yerseke is a three-day event that celebrates the start of Zeeland's oyster season . Each year, this festival marks the opening of the season when Zeeland oysters are harvested. Yerseke, located on the Eastern Scheldt, plays a crucial role in both mussel harvesting and oyster processing. Visitors to the festival can not only enjoy the delicious mussels and oysters, but also discover Yerseke itself. Take a nice walk through the village or bike along the Oosterschelde.
