Discover Wemeldinge

One of the most beautiful villages in Zeeland

Located on the banks of the Oosterschelde estuary, Wemeldinge is the oldest village in Zuid-Beveland. Visitors can enjoy walks through the historic Dorpsstraat with its characteristic linden trees and visit the 14th-century Maartenskerk. In addition, the marina provides access to the Oosterschelde National Park, through which several hiking and biking routes meander. Visit the marina

The marina in Wemeldinge is an attractive harbor located directly on the Oosterschelde National Park. The harbor serves as a central point for various boating trips, such as trips to Lake Veere, Zierikzee, the North Sea via the Roompotsluis lock, the Westerschelde towards Breskens or Antwerp and to Tholen via the Scheldt-Rhine Canal. There are also catering establishments such as Havenbrasserie Bom Dia and Eetterij Juno for a snack and a drink.

Beach day in Wemeldinge

Our vacation park is just 11 kilometers from Wemeldinge. Wemeldinge has a small beach where you can swim and picnic on the banks of the Oosterschelde. It is a quiet alternative to the larger beaches in the region. On the beach you will experience a relaxed atmosphere, ideal for a quiet day on the water.In the vicinity are various catering establishments and stores, as well as opportunities for water sports activities.

Visit Court Keizersweel

At Hof Keizersweel you can participate in workshops, such as the baking of Zeeland boluses. Not only will you learn the finer points of baking, but you will also get a tour of the farm, where you can admire various animals. You will find camels, angora goats, horses, peacocks, chickens, pigeons and much more! In addition, it is possible to take a seat on the farm terrace (in the summer months). A fun activity for young and old alike!
